Lars Frank Nielsen, an architect of the Danish studio ONEN has designed a small home modular system called One+. One+ is stylish little house created for Swedish company Add-A-Room. The units are prefabricated in Add-A-Room’s factory in Tyresö.
Based on 15 square meter modules, the system could be positioned in various ways in conjunction with other modules for a variety of building designs. It looks like playing with legos. Thanks of high quality local Swedish materials, energy efficient, future-proof design and deck and pergola include. The modules are made of solid Scandinavian materials which require minimal maintenance and thin outer panel made of Super Wood. This small home is also fully insulated with energy efficient windows and doors from VELFAC, while the pergola provides shade from the sun.
Like other small houses, this modular housing system could be used for a lot of implementations. You could be used as an office, studio, guest house, teenage accommodation or even as a summer house. Comes with electricity and plumbing ready to go as well as the veranda and pergola, the minimal price from one small house module is 250,000 SEK ($35,000 USD) and 350,000 SEK for one with a kitchenette and bathroom.
Hoover: This small home is a complete unit in itself but it can also be used as an add on to bigger houses in need of more space. Ingenious, isn't it?
