A former maid's room has been restructured to include a kitchen, bathroom, staircase and mezzanine.
A staircase lit by a skylight leads to the loft-room.
In the kitchen, the table is used as a bar, dining and work table.
Below the counter are some storage cabinets. The bathroom is separated
from the kitchen by Japanese paper wall. It contains a shower, toilet
and a built-in stainless steel sink.
A fireplace and nineteenth century floors are original features. Behind the staircase,the first step serves as a small bench and each succeeding step
becomes a drawer for more storage spaces.
In the kitchen of 27 sq ft (2.50 m2), all appliances are some of the smallest
in the market. A window created above the kitchen area takes advantage of natural light.
