Creative Chandeliers

Rent to Own.ph: On a recent trip to Las Vegas, we saw a beautiful wall chandelier made out of mismatched tumblers. This decor is used by one of the biggest casinos on the strip. Intrigued, we decided to search for similar uses of glass that we, sometimes considered as junk, have cluttered around the house.

What better way to preserve vintage glasses and tumblers from the 1960s and 70s than to make them into this. It is both a statement piece and an heirloom beautiful enough to be passed on to the next generations.

Pubs and restaurant owners can use this design to recycle their bottles. It is also unique display of brews available on the menu!

Called the "Tide" chandelier, lighting designer Stuart Haygarth made this in 2004 out of the “man-made debris” he had collected from a stretch of beach in the U.K. The artist decided to use only translucent plastic objects like pill bottles, hair brushes, shovels and more.
