What if your glass dinner table was also an Airplay Audio Speaker?

Rent to Own.ph: One of the coolest things we have seen!

Here's the scenario: you're hosting a dinner party with friends when you're inspired to liven up the mood with some music and some sing-a-long Carly Rae Jepsen"Call Me Maybe" at the dinner table. Imagine your guests' surprise (aside from your choice in music) once they realize the music is emanating from the...table itself!

The kaikuuu01 is first and foremost a table. But it's also a loudspeaker, with a special device (likely a transducer) under the glass surface to vibrate the whole surface area to produce sound (here's a similar example of glass sheets being used to produce sound). There's also a built-in radio and support for Airplay wireless streaming, meaning you can turn on the music and control your playlist right from your iPhone without missing dessert.

Designed by Teemu Kurkela, Martti Mela and Päivi Meuronen, the kaikuuu01 is still seeking manufacturing support, so for now you'll have to settle for a more traditional solution.
